Within within is an evolution of Hart's relationship with his 'marsupial girls'. In this body of work the girls are not only vessels for various creatures but are also carried, themselves, within larger vessels. Each work attempts to navigate some region of the psychic landscape, exploring caves of the unconscious and the unthought. Or as Hart says, 'I'm fumbling in the dark for the light switch'.

exotica - exotica NOIR by Jennie Castle 30 April - 29 May 2010

A sensory art exhibition by Jennie Castle, of ‘things that are curiously unusual or excitingly strange’ with roots in the African continent. The artwork will progress through the spaces of artSPACE berlin, from fresh, light and coloured, to scented, dark and ‘noir’ and reflect a transition of the artist’s work from 2005 to 2010.
